Refund Policy
In effect from 22 September 2026
- Cancel any time at sidebard.app/account. You won't be charged again.
- First payment: if Sidebard isn't for you, ask within 14 days and we'll refund it in full.
- After that, cancelling stops future charges, and you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
Cancelling
Sign in at sidebard.app/account and choose Manage billing. Cancel on the billing page that opens. Your licence keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for, then stops. Your campaigns stay on your computer either way.
Your first payment
If you ask within 14 days of your first subscription payment, we'll refund that payment in full. This applies once per person, not to each new subscription.
Later payments
Monthly renewals aren't refunded, including for part of a month or for time you didn't use, except:
- if you were charged after cancelling, or charged twice, we'll refund the mistaken charge;
- if the service was unavailable for a significant part of a billing period, we'll refund or credit you in proportion; and
- if we end your access without you having broken our Terms of Service, or end Sidebard altogether, we'll refund the unused part of your current period.
Hours charged by the minute
Extra hours are only ever charged if you turned them on, and Pay as you go bills every minute by design. We refund those charges if they came from a fault of ours — the microphone left listening by a bug, or minutes counted twice. We do not refund time that was genuinely played. If a bill surprises you, write to us: we would rather look at it than argue about it.
You can cap what a month may cost beyond your plan's price at any time on your account page.
How to ask for a refund
Email support@sidebard.app from the address you subscribed with, and say which payment you're asking about. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. When a refund is for your whole subscription, your licence stops working once it's issued.
Your legal rights
Sidebard is sold to customers in the United States.
This policy doesn't limit any rights you have under the consumer law where you live. For example, consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have a right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. If you ask Sidebard to start providing the service straight away, that right may be reduced for the part you've already used.
